Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial leadership, sales, business development, or project management within nuclear or energy sector
  • Demonstrated experience with large, complex, high-value nuclear programs (power uprates, plant modernization, life-extension, major modifications)
  • Demonstrated international commercial experience
  • Proven track record of securing complex, multi-million dollar contracts and strategic programs
  • Strong understanding of nuclear power plant operations, safety culture, and regulatory frameworks
  • Advanced negotiation skills and experience structuring complex commercial agreements

About this role

Lead commercial strategy and execution for large, high-value nuclear projects at Westinghouse, including power uprates, Super Uprates, plant modernizations, and life-extensions. Own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract signature, reporting to VP Commercial, Strategic Projects. Shape winning strategies, build executive-level utility relationships, and deliver differentiated value propositions across Westinghouse's nuclear service portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Shape winning capture strategies and deliver differentiated, value-based solutions to nuclear utilities; own full commercial lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract signature and project handover
  • Lead commercial execution for high-value, complex programs including power uprates, Super Uprates, major component replacements, plant modernizations, and life-extensions
  • Engage customers early to shape technical concepts, commercial frameworks, and decision criteria; position Westinghouse proactively in customer decision processes
  • Lead cross-Business Unit commercial integration for strategic programs across Engineered Solutions, Fuels, Instrumentation & Control, and Outage & Maintenance Services
  • Build and sustain executive-level relationships with nuclear utilities, government agencies, and industry stakeholders; represent Westinghouse at industry forums and conferences
  • Assess nuclear market dynamics including uprate drivers, customer priorities, competitive positioning, and regulatory developments in collaboration with Global Markets team
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations with Legal, Finance, Engineering, Risk, and Project teams; structure competitively viable agreements balancing customer value and financial performance
  • Maintain disciplined opportunity management in D365; provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and proposal status reporting to senior leadership
  • Lead proposal strategy and approval activities in coordination with cross-functional teams; maintain deep knowledge of Westinghouse services, technologies, and competitive offerings
