Market Analyst role at Constellation, the nation's largest clean energy producer and major US nuclear operator. Analyze wholesale energy markets, regulatory trends, and commodity impacts to inform business strategy across Associate, Mid, or Senior levels. Develop forecasts and market insights using tools like Plexos to support commercial decision-making in nuclear and clean energy generation.

Responsibilities

—Identify market drivers and incorporate them into short and long-term forecasts
—Coordinate market development perspectives with stakeholders across Constellation and communicate emerging market dynamics to commercial audiences
—Collaborate with Fundamentals, Structuring, Risk, and other teams to ensure consistent and coordinated market analysis
—Run and customize analytical models including Plexos and evaluate modeling results
—Communicate modeling results, insights, and implications in clear and concise manner
—Partner with team members to develop analytical tools, models, and market insights

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field; 1 year relevant experience (Associate), 2 years (Mid), or 5 years (Senior). Demonstrated quantitative analysis capability, strong mathematical and analytical skills, research and communication proficiency. Ability to work with ambiguous concepts and limited guidance. Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Project management capability.

Desired

Experience assessing market impacts and exposure to production cost and economic modeling. Computer programming skills such as Python. Knowledge of electricity market structure or nuclear operations preferred.
