About this role
Support procurement for Westinghouse's AP1000 nuclear reactor projects by managing supply continuity across fuel handling, auxiliary equipment, electrical, and instrumentation & control (I&C) systems. Partner with the APX Procurement Manager to deliver on cost, quality, delivery, and reliability targets for the Energy Systems Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Support WBS 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11 teams (Fuel and Material Handling, Auxiliary Equipment, Electrical, and I&C) for Energy Systems Business Unit
- Develop nuclear-qualified suppliers and serve as primary liaison between Energy Systems Team and suppliers
- Conduct business analysis of spend using PowerBI and other tools to identify cost drivers and project future spend
- Track performance against key metrics including payment terms, on-time delivery, productivity, inflation, price variance, and commodity changes
- Monitor active projects, update status, eliminate roadblocks, and escalate issues to Procurement Leadership
- Provide supply chain support to AP1000 project team for activities outside primary WBS areas
- Share performance insights with Procurement Leadership to inform strategic decisions
Location, schedule, and travel
Cranberry, PA facility; hybrid with 2 days/week in office; 10–20% travel (domestic and international)
