APx Sourcing & Procurement Specialist
About this role
Support Westinghouse's nuclear supply chain across Auxiliary Equipment, Electrical, and Mechanical departments. Manage supplier relationships, ensure procurement compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements, coordinate material deliveries, and identify cost improvements for equipment and services supporting nuclear energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- —Support sourcing and procurement activities for Auxiliary Equipment, Electrical, and Mechanical departments
- —Develop and maintain supplier and internal partner relationships to ensure supply continuity
- —Identify and resolve engineering, quality, and administrative procurement issues
- —Identify and obtain cost improvements for purchased materials and services
- —Monitor active projects, update status, eliminate roadblocks, and escalate issues
- —Coordinate and expedite material deliveries
- —Develop knowledge of nuclear regulatory compliance procedures and corrective action systems
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or related field; 2+ years Supply Chain administration experience; SAP system familiarity
Location
Remote; must be in or around Pittsburgh, PA area
