About this role
Individuals will complete a comprehensive three (3) year apprentice program encompassing all areas of plant maintenance leading to a fully qualified journeyman Electrician position.
Responsibilities
- include, but are not limited to, the following: Attend and successfully complete classes in all phases of apprentice/training program
- Complete OJT/hands-on training from a qualified instructor or qualified member of maintenance personnel
- Assist journeyman electricians in the testing, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment
- Identify hold points, additional problems and proper replacement parts as needed during performance of work activities
- Perform other assigned duties as directed by management, supervision, and journeymen Work Hours: During much of the training, individuals will work a 4 day/10-hour work schedule (Monday &ndash.
- Thursday); however, alternate work schedules including shift work will be required to support outages and other plant needs.
- Location: STPNOC is located on a 12,200-acre site approximately twenty (20) miles southwest of Bay City, Texas.
