Advanced Project Manager Xudapu
About this role
Advanced Project Manager role managing medium to high complexity projects for Commercial Nuclear Power Plants in Asia. Lead cross-functional project teams of up to 10 people, implement project management tools and practices, ensure contractual requirements are met, and support commercial discussions with customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- —Complete all aspects of project planning including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- —Monitor projects based on program strategy, acquire team members, and deliver all project aspects including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, and communications
- —Interpret, transmit, and lead project and contract requirements and changes to teams following integrated change management processes
- —Close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems
- —Identify opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work
- —Develop and cultivate positive relationships with team, customers, suppliers, and internal partners to facilitate successful project completion
Qualifications
- —5+ years of project management or controls experience, OR 4+ years of project management/controls experience plus 4+ years in a technical role in nuclear, technical, or construction industry
- —Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
- —Demonstrated ability to transform data to information for visual reports and understand database concepts for managing data within systems
- —Understanding of company functions that touch projects (Finance, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.)
- —Westinghouse Project Manager or Program Manager qualification completed (or commitment to complete within designated timeframe for external candidates)
- —PMI® Certified Project or Program Management Professional certification or equivalent project management certification completed or in progress
Desired
- —Experience on electrical or I&C projects
- —Project controls-related certification (scheduling, estimating, earned value, risk, etc.)
- —Program Manager qualification if not already completed
Location
New Stanton, PA and/or Warrendale facilities; hybrid position requiring on-site 2–3 days per week; 10–20% travel
