Advanced Project Manager, Ovation SW
About this role
Lead sub-system projects within Westinghouse's Dukovany I&C Systems, managing teams of ~30 members across Plant Control Systems, Power Conversion Systems, and Cyber Security initiatives. Manage complex nuclear instrumentation and control (I&C) projects with global customer interaction, including design baselines, concurrent engineering, and integrated change management for nuclear power plant modernization.
Responsibilities
- —Manage project management processes for multiple high-complexity sub-systems within the Dukovany Project I&C Systems (P-CCS, PCS, and MCR safety interfaces)
- —Lead medium-sized teams of approximately 30 members through full project lifecycle
- —Develop and author project management plans, scope, schedule, and cost baselines per Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR)
- —Establish design baselines and support concurrent engineering efforts with KEPCO E&C and customer stakeholders
- —Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholder relations
- —Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements and changes to functional groups via integrated change management
- —Track and forecast spending for financial planning; create cost estimates and offers for support and modifications
- —Follow GIC Tollgate process for proper sequencing and risk management of assigned scope
- —Support proposal processes for upcoming opportunities and document lessons learned via CAP program
- —Cultivate positive relationships with team, customers, and stakeholders in matrix environment
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
- —5+ years of experience as project manager leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects to successful completion (alternatively: 3 years project management + 2 years technical leadership role)
- —Valid U.S. Passport
Desired
- —Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or Business
- —6+ years of experience as project manager in technical industry (engineering, manufacturing, nuclear, or construction)
- —PMI PMP certification
- —Familiarity with commercial nuclear industry
- —Global work experience
Location
Onsite at Cranberry Township, PA and/or Warrendale, PA facilities with travel to U.S. and international customer sites; valid U.S. Passport required.
