Advanced Project Manager
About this role
Lead medium-sized teams (10–30 members) managing design and analysis projects for NSSS modifications at operating nuclear plants within Westinghouse's Long Term Operations group. Own all project management processes—scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, and stakeholder communications—for moderate to high complexity projects or portfolios.
Responsibilities
- —Manage end-to-end project delivery: scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partner coordination
- —Lead medium-sized teams (10–30 members) through project lifecycle from proposal through closeout
- —Develop project management plans, cost estimates, and baseline schedules per Westinghouse PMO standards; support customer negotiations on offers and modifications
- —Oversee risk and partner registers; implement integrated change management to communicate project and contract requirement changes to teams
- —Acquire and manage team resources; coordinate communications across internal teams, external customers, and partners
- —Maintain project records in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource systems; perform quality assessments and close projects
- —Document and communicate lessons learned, improvement opportunities, and risk avoidance strategies for future work
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
- —5+ years of project management experience leading low to moderate complexity projects to successful completion
Desired
- —Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or Business
- —6–10 years of project management experience in technical industries (engineering, manufacturing, nuclear, or construction)
Location
Cranberry, PA; hybrid, 2–3 days per week on-site
