Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of relevant utility experience (transmission, distribution, gas or substation)
- Previous nuclear experience
About this role
Manage the vendor contractor crews performing tendon surveillance on both containment structures at Calvert Cliffs. You'll run the vendor-to-site interface: coordinating work around both containments and keeping support tasks on schedule so the surveillance isn't delayed. This is a 16-week assignment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate MMD priorities
- Set up RP air sampling
- Prepare and approve confined space paperwork daily
- Make sure material is ordered and arrives when needed
- Ensure environmental and chemistry procedures are followed
- Coordinate material staging with other plant activities
- Write IRs for non-technical issues and coordinate scaffold packages
- Develop and implement JHAs and confined space rescue plans
- Coordinate cleaning services
- Make sure power needs are met, including lighting and TPUs
- Attend daily shift meetings and PSC briefings and pass on key information
- Make sure PSC is paid on schedule
- Mediate disagreements between PSC and plant crews
- Keep support tasks on schedule to prevent delays

Schedule: 10-hour days, 5 days a week, for 16 weeks
