About this role
Supervisor leading a 15–20 engineer team at Westinghouse developing Plant Computer applications and annunciator systems software. Responsibilities include team performance management, hiring, safety/quality culture, resource planning, and customer issue resolution for nuclear power plants.
Responsibilities
- —Manage performance and development of 15–20 direct reports; hire, train, and develop engineering resources
- —Establish and maintain a culture prioritizing safety and quality in all team operations
- —Evaluate project resource demand, develop hiring plans, and meet labor rate goals
- —Ensure consistency in software development processes across Plant Computer and annunciator system products
- —Lead resolution of emergent customer issues and closure of corrective actions
- —Drive product and process improvement initiatives, cost savings projects, and develop cost estimates for new projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; minimum 10 years of experience; experience leading a team of engineers; experience with I&C (Instrumentation & Control) software application development.
Desired
Experience in the nuclear industry.
Location
Hybrid, based in Warrendale, PA facility. No relocation assistance available.
