Required qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering with 4+ years of experience is preferred.
Desired experience includes specialized nuclear power projects such as PRNMs, MURs, EPUs/SPUs, turbine replacements, or generator rewinds.
Structural: Experience focused on Structural Engineering for industrial plant systems.

Physical Demands:

This position is primarily office-based with occasional work in an industrial nuclear power plant environment. Duties require prolonged periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. The selected candidate must be able to walk through plant facilities, climb stairs, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. All work must be performed in accordance with applicable safety, security, and radiological protection requirements. NPower Solutions is seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to support Calvert Cliffs Clean Energy Center (MD).

This Structural Design Engineer will be supporting the Extended Power Uprate at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant in MD. This is a remote position with occasional trips to the site. Previous experience with Power Uprates is strongly preferred.
