About this role
Strategy Associate supporting Oklo's Chief Strategy Officer and senior leadership on core strategic initiatives including advanced reactor power deployment, fuel strategy, capital formation, and industry partnerships. This role requires strong analytical rigor and execution ability in a fast-moving advanced nuclear energy startup. Oklo develops fast reactor technology for distributed power generation.
Responsibilities
- —Support the CSO and senior leadership on core strategic priorities across advanced reactor power deployment, fuel cycles, and nuclear infrastructure
- —Drive execution across key initiatives including market entry, financing structures, and regulatory pathway workstreams
- —Prepare materials for executive leadership, investors, partners, and Board discussions on nuclear technology and energy market strategy
- —Conduct market research synthesizing insights across energy markets, datacenter demand, government nuclear policy, and advanced reactor infrastructure requirements
- —Coordinate cross-functional efforts across commercial, finance, legal, regulatory, and engineering teams
- —Identify bottlenecks and execution risks across projects and drive resolution
- —Act as force multiplier for leadership by improving clarity, alignment, and execution across strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- —2–5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or similar analytical roles
- —Experience building high-quality materials for senior stakeholders (e.g., investors, executives, Board)
- —Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
- —Strong attention to detail and high standards for output quality
- —Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- —Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related field

- —Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with experience evaluating complex transactions or investments
- —Experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries
- —Exposure to project finance, infrastructure investing, or structured transactions
- —Familiarity with power markets, datacenter infrastructure, or advanced nuclear energy
- —Interest in long-term infrastructure development and industrial strategy
- —Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
Location
Remote role with required travel to Santa Clara, CA headquarters twice quarterly; two weeks in-person onboarding required.
