About this role
Warehouse storekeeper role supporting Entergy nuclear operations. Receive, pick, pack, and ship materials from a distribution warehouse in Montz, LA serving nuclear facilities. This onsite role involves operating powered industrial equipment, managing inventory of nuclear-related materials, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Candidates will be placed as Storekeeper I, II, or Sr based on experience (0-2, 2-4, or 4-6 years respectively).
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack material manually up to 50 lbs; utilize mechanical equipment for heavier loads
- Unload incoming material, inspect for damage, count accurately, and put away in proper bin locations
- Operate powered industrial lift trucks and electric pallet jacks
- Process material returned from the field
- Perform accurate inventory counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Utilize RF handheld equipment or paper pick lists to locate and pull required material
- Perform basic computer functions including data entry and lookups
- Print and apply shipping labels
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards
- Participate in and comply with health, safety, quality, and lean initiatives
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by superintendent
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of stores concepts and methods
- Familiarity with nomenclature of electrical materials
- Basic computer proficiency
Location, schedule, and travel
Onsite in Montz, LA; up to 25% travel; onsite position with no relocation assistance available
