Responsibilities

—Perform intermediate-level engineering work on nuclear/fossil plant operations, system production, underground systems, and control systems projects
—Serve as technical resource for thermo-hydraulic control systems, distribution standards, and specialized plant systems
—Lead and coordinate work activities within assigned teams and departments
—Develop, recommend, and implement engineering plans including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control for complex problems
—Identify, clarify, and resolve complex engineering problems requiring multi-functional or cross-organizational collaboration
—Prepare and present technical information to senior management, regulatory bodies, and professional organizations
—Build and maintain technical networks across AEP, industry partners, regulatory agencies, and academia
—Make technical decisions based on calculated risk assessment and analysis of uncertain outcomes
