About this role
Provide inspection, testing and evaluation services at Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Plant.
Responsibilities
- PT) Capable of using of precision measuring equipment (e.g. calibers, micrometers) Must be able to read and understand construction drawings Must be knowledgeable in Nuclear construction codes and standards Knowledgeable in material specifications Occasional travel between Vistra Nuclear and vendors.
- Education, Experience & Skill Requirements Education as required by regulatory agencies; minimum High school diploma or GED At least 5 years in inspection, examination, or testing activities is required. any certification current or previous is considered a plus.
- Certification examples include Magnetic Particles (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- Technical understanding of multiple nuclear plant processes / programs.
