Senior Nuclear Maintenance Tech Supervisor/Job Sponsor at Harris Nuclear Plant (Duke Energy). Lead supplemental maintenance workforce during online operations and outages, serving as single point of contact for field technical problems, workforce coordination, budgeting, and regulatory liaison with NRC and INPO.

Serve as outage job sponsor and single point of contact for supplemental workforce; determine workforce numbers, training needs, work coordination, and safety monitoring

Formulate and monitor outage budgets including workforce, materials, and equipment costs; prepare annual O&M, capital, labor, tooling, and training budgets

Provide technical support and subject matter expertise as initial contact for field problems; analyze component data and issues for safe and timely resolution

Conduct work order reviews and engineering support for problem identification, resolution, and equipment availability assessments

Initiate and review procedure changes in qualified reviewer capacity; serve as SME for code and technical evaluations

Act as point of contact between engineering, NOS, and external regulators (NRC, INPO, EPRI); lead assessment and benchmarking activities

Conduct Out of Tolerance (OOT) reviews on Measuring and Test Equipment; monitor programmatic oversight (e.g., site welding) and create improvement strategies

Perform assessments, root cause analyses, and prepare vendor proposals and technical reports

Conduct oversight and observation of field work activities; reinforce accountabilities and pursue continuous professional development

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

11+ years total related work experience (3 additional years beyond the 8 required)

Previous experience providing technical direction in specified maintenance discipline

Project management experience

Leadership abilities to effectively direct work and manage multiple projects

Strong prioritization, scheduling, planning, and execution skills

Self-starter mentality requiring minimal supervision
