About this role
Entry-level machine shop support role at Westinghouse's Newington, NH nuclear manufacturing facility. You will assist with machining operations, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep while completing hands-on training in manufacturing and quality processes under the Machine Shop Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned machine shop support tasks under supervisor direction
- Operate and maintain safe use of shop equipment and materials
- Report and escalate safety concerns via ARC system
- Maintain quality standards and proper housekeeping; complete Atlas training
- Perform general facility cleaning of offices, common areas, restrooms, and kitchens
- Escort vendors throughout facility
Location, schedule, and travel
100% onsite at Westinghouse Newington, NH facility. Physical demands: lifting up to 25 lbs, pulling, and twisting.
