About this role
Lead technical interventions for reactor inspection and maintenance at nuclear power plants. Direct site teams overseeing in-service inspection (ISI), TV inspection, reactor head removal/installation, and fuel handling while ensuring safety, radiation protection, quality standards, and contractual compliance.
Responsibilities
- —Provide technical oversight of site personnel; coordinate launch, organization, and monitoring of field teams
- —Serve as primary technical contact with client, addressing requests within contractual framework
- —Optimize technical, contractual, and economic execution of interventions
- —Ensure compliance with contractual and Westinghouse internal requirements
- —Prepare activities aligned with site preparation milestones (planning, resources, logistics)
- —Enforce safety and radiation protection rules; report deviations
- —Evaluate personnel performance and manage timesheets
- —Provide technical support and coaching to team members
- —Maintain direct communication with client on logistics, utilities, safety, and health issues
- —Document all actions and events; manage equipment installation/removal phases
- —Ensure proper equipment use and material tracking with lot manager
- —Deliver training in area of expertise; participate in process improvements and qualifications
Qualifications
- —Minimum 8 years experience in in-service inspection (ISI) or TV inspection operations
- —Technical expertise in mechanics, electrotechnics, or electronics
- —Nuclear industry knowledge and understanding of power plant operations
- —English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
- —Team management and coaching skills
- —Client relationship and interface management capabilities
- —Written and oral communication with synthesis abilities
- —Organization, autonomy, and anticipation skills; rigor and sense of responsibility
