About this role
Operations Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company responsible for managing on-site nuclear service delivery projects. You will oversee resource planning, site operations, safety/regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple nuclear facility projects (CNPE), directly impacting project profitability and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- —Define and implement multi-year resource plans for on-site personnel and equipment; deliver integrated resource plans within your domain
- —Provide competent and certified human resources in compliance with client and Westinghouse requirements
- —Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on Westinghouse nuclear sites
- —Prepare and execute on-site interventions in compliance with contractual requirements (timeline, costs, safety, security, quality)
- —Provide integrated supply plan for materials and services; implement cost-efficiency actions through procurement and logistics
- —Establish and maintain business relationships with nuclear plants (CNPE), central ordering bodies, and qualified subcontractors
- —Define and implement improvements to training, operational practices, and maintenance for increased efficiency
- —Ensure feedback from activities and implement appropriate actions to improve intervention quality and equipment reliability
- —Ensure overall profitability of project portfolio and proper resource utilization
Qualifications
- —University-level degree in engineering or related discipline
- —5–10 years of experience in nuclear service delivery or engineering
- —In-depth knowledge of nuclear services and operational/regulatory requirements of nuclear facilities
- —Experience in project planning and management
- —Understanding of business and financial processes
- —Good knowledge of continuous improvement processes
- —Problem-solving skills using creative planning and resource management
- —Negotiation and persuasion skills to secure projects and stakeholder buy-in
- —Ability to motivate personnel and adapt to evolving demands
