About this role
Support Westinghouse's nuclear facilities through tooling preparation, equipment repairs, training development, and engineering support for reactor component upgrades. Long-term onsite contract at Madison, PA facility reporting to Senior Manager of Reactor Components Upgrades.
Responsibilities
- —Prepare and checkout tooling for reactor component upgrades at multiple nuclear facilities
- —Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance of equipment; analyze and troubleshoot complex equipment issues
- —Develop and deliver training materials and provide engineering support to projects
- —Assume increased responsibility and leadership roles as technical knowledge improves
- —Support flexible work schedules as dictated by project demands
Qualifications
- —Qualified Radiological Worker with contamination avoidance training
- —Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with formal technical training
- —Minimum 5 years experience as Technician/Specialist leading low to moderate complexity projects, OR 3+ years project engineering support plus 2+ years technical leadership
Desired
- —6–10 years experience as Technician/Specialist in directly related role
- —Formal training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering
- —Experience with Primavera, SAP, Power BI, Tableau, or Active Risk Manager
- —Active-duty military background
Location
Onsite at Madison, PA facility; long-term contract with project-driven schedules.
