About this role

RCU Technician supporting Westinghouse nuclear facilities on a long-term contract. Responsible for tooling preparation, equipment repairs, training development, and engineering support across multiple reactor component upgrade (RCU) projects at the Madison, PA facility.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project preparation and execution at multiple nuclear facilities
  • Prepare and checkout tooling for reactor component upgrades
  • Develop and deliver training materials and programs
  • Provide hands-on repairs of equipment and analyze complex equipment issues
  • Support engineering teams with troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Assume increased responsibility and leadership as knowledge improves
  • Take ownership of challenges with customer-focused approach

Preferred qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience as a Technician/Specialist in a directly related role
  • Formal training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering
  • Experience with Primavera, MSP, SAP, Active Risk Manager, Acumen Fuse, PRISM, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Active-duty military background
  • 3 years of project engineering support combined with 2 years in technical leadership role

Location, schedule, and travel

On-site at Madison, PA facility; long-term contract position.
