Project Procurement Specialist
About this role
Support Westinghouse's procurement operations for large capital projects in the nuclear energy sector. Assist Project Procurement Managers with supplier strategy, contract development, and RFx processes while working hybrid from Columbia, SC.
Responsibilities
- —Develop and assist with procurement strategies, pricing models, and sourcing plans aligned with financial and delivery requirements
- —Prepare and coordinate RFx processes, NDAs, and commercial contract conditions; solicit and analyze supplier quotations
- —Evaluate supplier financial stability, capacity, and manufacturing capability against project technical requirements
- —Manage supplier relationships, contract performance issues, and post-purchase order commitments including design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing, and shipment milestones
- —Analyze cost elements and entitlement basis; negotiate changes and draft agreements in SAP
- —Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements and Westinghouse procurement procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Desired
Supply chain management experience; SAP proficiency; knowledge of nuclear supply chain or quality requirements
