- 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience
- Proven experience managing technical projects within a manufacturing environment
- Strong manufacturing background, ideally in sensitive or regulated equipment production
- Hands-on experience delivering projects under an Agile methodology
- Supplier / vendor coordination experience
About this role
This Project Manager will oversee a single product development effort to build a replica of a product that can no longer be sourced through its original parts supply. Client is handling portions of the software development while a third-party supplier produces the hardware, with product testing performed in Georgia. The PM provides end-to-end project management across the effort and serves as the primary coordination point with the supplier.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end project management for a single product development / replica-build effort
- Coordinate with the third-party hardware supplier and internal software development
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables using Agile methodology
- Oversee product testing activities in Georgia
- Coordinate across engineering, production, and quality teams
- Manage risk, remove blockers, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery aligned to quality and safety standards
- Provide clear, consistent stakeholder communication and status reporting
Preferred qualifications
- Nuclear and/or utility industry experience; adjacent regulated industries (aerospace, medical, pharma) considered
- PMP certification
