Project Controls Schedule Manager- Any SNC Site
About this role
Enterprise-level project controls leadership role establishing scheduling standards, governance, and oversight across Southern Nuclear's fleet capital projects. Provides independent schedule assurance, drives portfolio-level predictability, and ensures schedules support executive decision-making across multiple nuclear sites.
Responsibilities
- —Establish and maintain SNC fleet scheduling standards, policies, and governance requirements; define mandatory requirements for schedule maturity, baseline readiness, and change thresholds
- —Serve as functional authority for scheduling expectations across Fleet Projects; define fleet scheduling framework integrating scope, strategy, risk, and delivery confidence
- —Ensure integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and outage planning; establish expectations for schedule use in portfolio forecasting and risk assessment
- —Provide independent schedule assurance for PRC, CPRC, and executive leadership forums; review and challenge baselines, recovery plans, and milestone changes
- —Monitor fleet-level performance trends, define schedule KPIs, and escalate systemic and portfolio-level schedule risks with recommendations
- —Provide senior leadership and direction to scheduling and project controls resources; partner with PMO, Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership
- —Champion continuous improvement of scheduling discipline and capability across the fleet
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline. Extensive experience in project controls scheduling for capital projects in regulated or high-reliability environments. Demonstrated experience influencing outcomes across multiple projects, sites, or portfolios.
Desired
Advanced degree or professional certification (PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, CCP).
