About this role
Lead a production unit at Westinghouse's nuclear fuel manufacturing facility in Sweden. Manage a team responsible for safety, quality, production volume, and cost across uranium processing, finished fuel cartridge assembly, and control rod manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- —Lead daily management and operations of assigned production unit
- —Manage full staff and work environment to achieve safety, quality, production volume, cost, staffing, and continuous improvement targets
- —Oversee reporting, process control, and operational metrics tracking
- —Handle staffing, training, coaching, and leadership development for team members
- —Execute administrative tasks and report to Chief Operating Officer
- —Participate in cross-functional management team activities
Qualifications
- —2+ years experience as production supervisor with personnel responsibility in manufacturing industry or equivalent leadership experience
- —Full professional proficiency in Swedish; good spoken and written English
- —Demonstrated leadership aligned with safety, quality, integrity, and credibility
- —Understanding of production priorities: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost-effectiveness
Desired
- —Knowledge of lean manufacturing
- —Experience with automation and digital solutions
- —Experience managing organizational change
