Required qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Source and acquire necessary parts while maintaining configuration control
  • Manage vendor relationships, performance, and quality assurance activities
  • Manage logistics, order processing, and bills of material
  • Perform intermediate to complex engineering work and projects
  • Analyze interrelationships between nuclear systems and component equipment
  • Interpret codes and regulations relevant to procurement and nuclear operations
  • Provide guidance to other engineers and lead cross-departmental coordination
  • Develop plans with measurable goals and manage project budgets
  • Identify and resolve routine and complex technical problems
  • Develop reports on technical subjects for management and regulatory bodies
  • Monitor new products, developments, technologies, and equipment relevant to nuclear operations

Preferred qualifications

  • Passing Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination in preparation for Professional Engineer (PE) licensing
  • Advanced knowledge of nuclear power plant systems and equipment
  • Experience with configuration management and quality assurance processes
  • Project management and budgeting experience
