About this role
Process Owner role at Entergy nuclear facility managing daily operations, plant processes, staff, and regulatory compliance. This position requires extensive power plant operations experience and strong leadership to drive safety culture, operational excellence, and team development at a nuclear generation station.
Responsibilities
- —Foster and champion a safety-oriented culture across the plant
- —Champion strategic vision and direction of the organization
- —Meet OSG process requirements and monitor performance for efficiency and safety while ensuring regulatory compliance
- —Oversee, lead, and direct plant process staff including analysts and planner/schedulers
- —Lead by example and coach, mentor, and develop direct and indirect reports to exceed individual and company goals
- —Act as a change agent for the plant, driving daily initiatives to improve morale and staff engagement
- —Lead plant efforts to ensure stakeholder expectations are met and foster improved stakeholder communication
- —Establish and maintain an inclusive work environment
- —Serve as the voice of the department with regular communication and updates
Qualifications
- —High school diploma or equivalent AND 7+ years of power plant/industrial experience in maintenance, operations, or project work; OR
- —Technology-specific or business-related degree AND 5+ years equivalent work experience in maintenance, operations, or project work
- —Excellent oral, written, and computer skills
- —Ability to build strong teams through leadership and interpersonal skills
Location
Onsite in Holly Ridge, Louisiana; up to 25% travel
