Principal Customer Solutions Engineer
About this role
Principal Customer Solutions Engineer supporting Westinghouse's Rotating Equipment Services team. Drive technical cost optimization, strategy development, and product growth for safety-related medium voltage motors and rewinds serving US nuclear power plants. Work across customer needs and internal WEC organizations from the Madison, PA facility.
Responsibilities
- —Lead technical cost and development initiatives within RES that meet customer needs and drive orders
- —Assess customer requirements and evaluate Westinghouse's ability to deliver solutions across organizations
- —Support incremental product growth through acquisition and qualification of safety-related medium voltage IP
- —Leverage value from recent IP acquisitions through transition phases and build teams for new opportunities in replacement safety-related medium voltage motors and rewinds
- —Collaborate with product experts to identify innovation needs and develop plans for funding and implementation
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, or Business
- —5+ years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or field service, preferably within commercial nuclear power plants or regulated industries
- —Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plant projects and operations
- —Familiarity with rotating equipment, preferably motors
Location
Onsite at Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA; hybrid work arrangement
