About this role
Senior Planning and Scheduling Coordinator at a nuclear facility responsible for managing all maintenance planning, scheduling, and procurement activities. This role ensures safe and reliable plant operation by coordinating resources, maintaining inventory, planning outage activities, and managing contractor work in compliance with Entergy's maintenance management processes and nuclear regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- —Perform all maintenance planning activities to ensure correct materials and manpower resources are available for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and fault finding activities
- —Manage, prioritize, and schedule all maintenance activities at the plant, including building weekly schedules and managing the maintenance backlog
- —Identify emergency break-in work that requires immediate attention
- —Maintain the work maintenance system (AIMM) for the plant, ensuring all work requests are documented with required scope details
- —Close out completed work requests with detailed descriptions of work completed and man hours logged
- —Manage all day-to-day storeroom activities, monitor and maintain inventory levels
- —Support all audits and statistical inventory counts in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley rulings
- —Perform long-range planning for outage preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and auxiliary outage projects
- —Develop outage work schedules and manage all contracts, contractors, and budgets associated with outage work
- —Manage multiple annual maintenance contracts for the plant and schedule contractors to perform work
- —Manage plant budgets and the VRC process to secure resources for outage support
- —Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Entergy procedures and compliance guidelines
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, operations, or equivalent) or equivalent work experience
- —6+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling at a nuclear or large industrial facility
Location
Onsite in New Orleans, Louisiana; up to 25% travel; may be required to work additional hours and alternate locations during storms, outages, or emergencies.
