About this role
Plant Controller at Westinghouse's Springfields Fuels Ltd nuclear fuel manufacturing facility. As first-line management, you will oversee safe and compliant production operations, coordinate shift handovers, manage quality control, and ensure production targets are met while maintaining regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- —Enforce safety rules and procedures across the manufacturing plant and conduct regular safety inspections
- —Ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards, including all quality control requirements
- —Coordinate shift handovers with previous and oncoming shift supervisors
- —Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and inventory management
- —Monitor team attendance and manage material flow to ensure continuous operations
- —Report operational issues and production discrepancies to plant management
Qualifications
- —Experience leading and managing a team
- —Ability to identify operational issues and determine required corrective actions
- —Proficiency with computer systems
