About this role

Operations Procedure Supervisor for TerraPower's Kemmerer Power Station (advanced reactor). You'll lead a team developing and maintaining O&M procedures, regulatory compliance programs, and procedure management systems for a new nuclear facility. Report to the Program and Procedure Development Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise development of O&M processes, programs, and procedures ensuring compliance with NRC regulations, INPO accreditation criteria, and industry codes/standards
  • Maintain NDP procedure writing standards and oversee procedure revisions for plant design changes, modifications, and process updates
  • Support development, deployment, and integration of software programs and smart procedure tools for site operations management
  • Directly supervise procedure writers and program developers including performance management and professional development
  • Supervise integration of INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices into station procedures
  • Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits; prepare responses to audit findings
  • Develop and maintain team knowledge of plant design, operations, and technical discipline skills
  • Ensure collection and maintenance of auditable records documenting procedure development and revisions
  • Coordinate cross-discipline procedure reviews and database implementation across departments
  • Engage with industry peers, vendors, NEI, and other organizations to identify innovative methods for plant operating procedures

Preferred qualifications

RO or SRO license (current or pursuing); experience in maintenance, chemistry, or radiological protection; experience supervising complex projects with competing objectives and organizational constraints; experience leading diverse teams on highly complex problem resolution
