NDT Inspector
About this role
NDT Inspector role with Westinghouse Field Services based in Madrid, performing critical ultrasonic testing (UT) inspections at nuclear plants internationally. ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in UT required; work in highly regulated nuclear environment with frequent travel to client sites.
Responsibilities
- —Perform ultrasonic testing (UT) inspections per established procedures and nuclear quality standards
- —Prepare and document technical inspection reports
- —Ensure compliance with nuclear sector quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- —Participate in national and international inspection campaigns at nuclear facilities
- —Collaborate with internal Westinghouse technical teams and external nuclear plant clients
Qualifications
- —ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in UT (UT, UTT, TOFD, PAUT or equivalent)
- —Prior hands-on experience performing UT inspections in industrial or technical environments
- —Fluent English for international communication and technical documentation
- —Availability for frequent travel to nuclear plant sites
Desired
- —ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in additional NDT methods (ET, MT, PT, VT)
- —Hands-on experience with complementary NDT inspections beyond UT
Location
Madrid-based with frequent national and international travel to on-site nuclear plant inspections; indefinite contract.
