Storeroom Material Handler at Westinghouse's New Stanton facility managing safe and efficient handling of nuclear component parts, inventory records in SAP, and support for production and customer deliveries of nuclear equipment and assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Arrange, store, and retrieve warehouse items and maintain accurate location records in SAP, Microsoft Excel, or other systems
- Load, wrap, mark, and label stock or equipment on pallets or containers following organization and national packaging standards
- Operate forklift, hand truck, and other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods
- Ensure all required SAP goods movement transactions are complete and verify documentation is received and maintained
- Complete physical inventory cycle counts, enter data in SAP, and maintain logs
- Pick and issue material to SAP Production Orders and SAP Deliveries to support production and customer shipments
- Interface with internal customers and external suppliers daily
- Support Planning with inventory transfers and subcontracting order requests
- Monitor supply inventory and coordinate orders with Shipping department for packaging materials
- Support obsolescence review process by picking parts and completing SAP and physical scrap dispositions
- May drive Westinghouse vehicle to drop off or pick up material for plating, testing, or other purposes
- Participate in peer-to-peer process, procedure, and safety training
- Adhere to all safety requirements and maintain forklift and other equipment certifications
