About this role

Manager of engineering programs at Constellation's nuclear facilities, providing advanced technical expertise and engineering leadership for nuclear plant operations. This role combines hands-on problem-solving with strategic oversight of short and long-term technical initiatives that directly impact site performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs
  • Serve as subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
  • Fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks applying general engineering principles
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures and codes
  • Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
  • Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with regulatory changes
  • Support emergency response duties, department coverage, and outage activities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science
  • OR Professional Engineer License or Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years of engineering or related experience, including minimum 1 year of nuclear power plant experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
  • Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Desired

  • People management experience
  • Experience in piping, code compliance, regulations, ASME, pressure vessels, snubbers
  • Knowledge of nuclear regulators and regulatory applicability
  • Professional Engineer Registration
  • Advanced technical degree or related coursework

Location

Nuclear plant site-based role with potential emergency response and outage coverage duties requiring on-call availability.
