Maintenance Planner Electrical
About this role
Plan and prepare work packages for electrical maintenance at Constellation's nuclear power plants, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient execution in compliance with QA manuals, company policies, and applicable nuclear codes and standards (10 CFR 50.59, ASME Code, NSPs).
Responsibilities
- —Plan and prepare work instructions for corrective maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, surveillances, and modifications
- —Select and approve procurement for materials needed for work package execution
- —Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective, preventive, modification, and surveillance activities
- —Interface with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues
- —Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages
- —Prepare Out of Service (OOS) notices, Radiation Work Permits (RWPs), plant barrier impairments, welding/grinding permits, fire impairments, Operability impact statements, ALARA task outs, and regulatory documentation
- —Verify work instructions comply with Nuclear Safeguard Protocols (NSPs), ASME Code, and 10 CFR 50.59 requirements
- —Approve and review work packages to ensure safety, technical rigor, and quality
- —Develop, revise, and review maintenance procedures to maintain compliance with codes, standards, and vendor recommendations
- —Provide project management of system planners or contractors developing detailed package elements
- —Participate in work control/scheduling meetings, planning feedback sessions, contract reviews, troubleshooting, and Operating Experience (OPEX) searches
- —Support outage activities and emergency response as directed by management
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience, OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 2 years of related experience, OR Associate's degree with 3 years of related experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience
- —Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements as applicable
- —Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Desired
- —5 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations
Location
Onsite at Constellation Clean Energy Center (CEC); must maintain nuclear facility access clearance
