Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Analytical/diagnostic assessment skills are a plus Experience
- Previous experience with material management & inventory fundamentals desired
- Power Generation, plant systems equipment, and maintenance experience desired Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills to evaluate and establish inventory parameters and daily inventory transactions
- Working knowledge of inventory analytics and forecasting/modeling concepts
- Technically skilled in the use of SQL, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and Maximo
- Communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and suppliers KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
About this role
This position provides Inventory Control and Materials Management support of Southern Company Nuclear Materials and Warehouse Operations. Employee will be responsible for development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic inventory initiatives such as Inventory Optimization, Parts Sharing and Technology deployment in support of established goals for Inventory Management and Warehouse operations.
