Required qualifications
- High School/GED or equivalent (Required) EXPERIENCE 4 years of power plant experience in an operations or operations support role, of which 3 must be nuclear power plant experience. (Required) 30 hours of college credit in an engineering discipline equals one 1 year of experience.
- LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS Required to have one of these certifications: Instructor SRO Certification Or SRO Certification Or SRO License ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES SRO INSTRUCTION AND TRAINING: Participates in all phases of training program administration, including the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.
- Conducts assigned training, including simulator training.
- Schedules training programs to support station needs.
- Schedules classrooms and personnel to attend class Implements training per the approved work plan and budget.
- Evaluates the performance of personnel in classroom, simulator and in-plant training.
- Assists in the evaluation of trainees and training programs to identify areas for improvement.
- Participates in developmental opportunities and corrective actions to continually improve job performance and skills.

Location, schedule, and travel
Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed. Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.
