About this role
Project Engineer for Westinghouse Steam Generator Business Unit, leading hybrid operational execution, engineering, and project management roles at French nuclear facilities. Oversee chemical cleaning of steam generators and liquid effluent treatment projects with potential international assignments.
Responsibilities
- —Oversee operational activities including handling heavy components, installing flexible hoses and piping systems, and assembling bolted joints to torque specifications
- —Manage chemical product transfer, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, conduct work at height, and complete equipment inspections with documented reports
- —Develop intervention procedures and establish technical specifications for equipment design, fabrication, or repair projects
- —Ensure regulatory compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to lessons learned processes
- —Assist project managers with daily operations, create and update project schedules and organizational charts
- —Process purchase requests, track logistics and spare parts, and prepare final project reports
- —Promote Westinghouse safety, nuclear security, radioprotection, environmental, and quality standards
Qualifications
Master's degree (Bac +5) in Engineering; 0–3 years of professional experience; proficiency in office software and Microsoft Office; knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, and electromechanical principles
Desired
Professional certifications in nuclear security (SCN), radioprotection (RP), or quality assurance (CSQ); SAP software experience
Location
Based at home location with approximately 80% travel to French nuclear power plant sites and potential international Westinghouse projects
