Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar experience (Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, Nuclear, or other related engineering field).
- Experience performing I&C design engineering in a commercial nuclear power plant.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
About this role
NPower is working on staffing an I&C Design Engineer position to support Calvert Cliffs Clean Energy Center (MD).
The I&C Design Engineer will design, evaluate, and implement instrumentation and control system modifications that support safe, reliable, and efficient station operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop engineering design packages for I&C system modifications.
- Perform engineering evaluations and technical analyses to support plant modifications and operational improvements.
- Support field walkdowns, design verification activities, testing, commissioning, and refueling outage work as required.
- Provide technical support during project implementation and resolve design-related issues.
Preferred qualifications
- -Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- -Previous Constellation/Exelon Nuclear experience.
- -Familiarity with Calvert Cliffs Clean Energy Center.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: December 31, 2028 w/ possibility of extension
