Required qualifications
- Technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanics
- At least 2 years experience as a Fitter in heavy steelworks or equivalent nuclear fabrication environment
- Familiarity with WPS (Welding Process Specifications) and mechanical drawings

Join Westinghouse's Monfalcone fabrication facility as a Junior Fitter to fabricate metal components and assemblies for nuclear energy systems. You'll apply standardized production processes and quality control standards under the guidance of the Nuclear Fabrication Manager, working with reactor vessel components in Clean Condition Room environments.
Responsibilities
- Align shells, heads, and nozzles for nuclear component assembly
- Assemble fabricated structures and components using equipment and hand tools
- Prepare joints for welding following WPS (Welding Process Specifications)
- Check conformity of prepared parts against engineering specifications using measuring instruments
- Operate in Clean Condition Room (CCR) environments while maintaining nuclear safety and quality standards
- Comply with company procedures for safety, quality, risk, and security
