About this role

Constellation seeks engineers to provide advanced technical expertise and problem-solving in direct support of nuclear plant operations. This is a multi-level role (Entry, Mid, or Senior) focused on engineering analysis, equipment and system troubleshooting, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

—Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs
—Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
—Manage engineering issues and ensure complete task resolution
—Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles and industry best practices
—Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work while maintaining proper configuration management
—Verify standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications
—Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
—Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with regulatory changes
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
—For Mid-level: 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
—For Senior: 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience and meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements
—Maintain minimum or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
