About this role

Regulatory engineer supporting nuclear plant operations at Constellation Energy. Develop, manage, and implement regulatory analyses while ensuring compliance with NRC requirements, industry codes, and licensing basis. Mid-level (E02) or Senior (E03) positions available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth regulatory and technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement regulatory analyses, activities, and programs
  • Identify and resolve regulatory issues through consultation with plant operations and engineering teams
  • Manage regulatory issues from inception to resolution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform independent research, reviews, and analyses in support of regulatory and technical projects
  • Verify application of design criteria, procedures, regulations, and codes in technical products
  • Recommend improvements to reduce regulatory burden, correct non-compliances, or address regulatory changes
  • Support emergency response duties and department coverage as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience (E02 Mid-level) or 6+ years professional experience (E03 Senior)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements per position
  • Favorable medical examination and/or testing per position duties

Desired

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
