Responsibilities

—Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs with in-depth technical expertise
—Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical expertise and direct involvement
—Manage engineering issues from task inception through completion with proper configuration management
—Perform engineering tasks applying principles, standard design criteria, procedures, and applicable codes
—Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects
—Recommend equipment improvements, new concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, reduce costs, or ensure code/regulatory compliance
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as assigned

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
—5+ years of nuclear industry experience or related engineering experience
—Ability to meet and maintain unescorted access or equivalent security requirements
—Favorable medical examination and testing in accordance with position duties
