Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science, OR Professional Engineer License, OR Active/Inactive SRO License with 5+ years of engineering/related experience (minimum 1 year nuclear power plant experience). Meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for Personnel Selection, Qualification, and Training. Maintain required access or unescorted access per position. Pass favorable medical examination/testing per position duties.

About this role

Lead the engineering function at a Constellation nuclear power station. Manage technical personnel, drive regulatory compliance, and ensure operational excellence across short- and long-term engineering programs impacting station operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering function to meet station needs and regulatory requirements • Manage performance and development of assigned engineering personnel aligned with site and corporate objectives • Provide technical leadership and accountability for programs impacting site operations • Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance reviews • Serve as senior resource for company-wide standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes • Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed

Preferred qualifications

Professional Engineer Registration, Advanced technical degree or MBA, Supervisory or managerial experience
