About this role

Constellation operates the nation's largest clean energy fleet and seeks Engineers at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior level to provide advanced technical expertise in support of nuclear plant operations. You will serve as a subject matter expert, develop and implement engineering analyses and programs, and contribute directly to the safe, reliable operation of multiple nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

—Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
—Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct involvement and subject matter expert consultation
—Fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
—Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles under supervision or independently as appropriate to level
—Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes
—Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
—Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or ensure regulatory compliance
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as directed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Desired

—Professional Engineer (PE) Registration
—2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Mid-level); 5+ years for Senior level
—Experience in design and modification of turbines, motors, pumps, heaters, transformers, generators, and related equipment
—Disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, or Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineering
