About this role

Constellation, the nation's largest producer of clean and reliable energy, seeks an Electrical Analytical Engineer to perform engineering and technical analysis in support of nuclear plant operations. This role supports electrical system design, protection, and transient analysis for nuclear facilities. Position available at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior level depending on experience.

Responsibilities

—Perform electrical engineering and technical analysis tasks supporting nuclear plant operations, applying general and specialized engineering principles
—Ensure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, industry codes (IEEE, NERC), engineering specifications, and NRC regulatory requirements
—Develop and implement analytical processes and techniques for electrical systems (protection, transient analysis, power quality) in compliance with established policies and procedures
—Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard engineering processes and procedures
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, on-call duties, and outage activities as directed by management

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, or Nuclear)
—Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements as applicable to nuclear facility
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
—Entry-level: bachelor's degree required
—Mid-level: 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience
—Senior-level: 5+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience

Desired

—Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) Registration
—Transmission or generation protection experience
—Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP) modeling experience
—Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) experience
—Generator and plant modifications experience
