About this role
Mechanical Engineer supporting Westinghouse's nuclear energy solutions. Design, analyze, and certify primary equipment components (steam generators, pressurizers, accumulators, core-makeup tanks) using ASME Code and FEA for nuclear power plants.
Responsibilities
- Perform design drawings and calculations for nuclear power plant primary equipment components
- Apply ASME Code to design and analysis of steam generators, PRHRs, pressurizers, accumulation tanks, and core-makeup tanks
- Author deviation and non-conformance reports to support fabricators of primary equipment
- Evaluate nuclear power plant components using Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Support generic projects developing industry guidance and requirements for safe long-term operation of nuclear primary equipment
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid role based in Cranberry Township, PA (Westinghouse headquarters)
