About this role
This Electrical Engineer will be serving as a technical leader responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of complex engineering projects supporting nuclear plant modifications, equipment reliability improvements, and strategic capital investments.
Responsibilities
- and Accountabilities Engineering Project Leadership Perform Project Team Lead responsibilities in accordance with applicable company procedures, including PC-AA-1009.
- Lead engineering projects from conceptual design through installation and closeout.
- Develop engineering cost estimates, project schedules, resource plans, and technical specifications.
- Manage engineering project scope, schedule, quality, and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project activities with stakeholders, sponsors, plant organizations, project controls, procurement, and contractors.
- Ensure engineering activities support station goals, outage schedules, and long-term asset management strategies.
- Cost and Schedule Management Develop and maintain project cost forecasts and engineering budget estimates.
- Closely monitor and control project expenditures to ensure authorized budgets are maintained.
- Track project milestones and manage schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
- Provide monthly schedule updates and forecast information to Project Controls.
Preferred qualifications
- Nuclear power industry experience Experience with engineering change processes, configuration management, and plant modifications Experience with large electrical modifications, including generators, relays, and power systems Experience managing Engineering Service Providers (ESPs) and external contractors Relay experience Switchyard modification/upgrade experience ETAP experience
