Drexel Co-op (Fall/Winter 2026) - Peach Bottom
About this role
Fall/Winter 2026 co-op at Constellation's Peach Bottom Nuclear Generating Station (two-unit pressurized water reactor). Choose between Strategic Engineering (supporting station operation and maintenance) or Design Engineering (plant modifications, design changes, technical problem-solving). Full-time 40-hour/week commitment for engineering students.
Responsibilities
- —Analyze plant performance data using spreadsheet programs and computerized systems to support performance analysis and reporting
- —Compile performance indicators and prepare reports for senior station management
- —Conduct system walkdowns and troubleshoot plant systems and instrumentation
- —Support maintenance inspections and equipment testing
- —Assist in development of preliminary design change packages for plant modifications
- —Research equipment specifications and technical documentation for future applications
Qualifications
- —Minimum 3.0 GPA
- —U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien (Green Card holder)
- —Currently enrolled as engineering student
- —Reliable transportation
Desired
- —Major in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology
- —Basic engineering skills with understanding of practical applications
- —Some related work or volunteer experience (preferred for second co-op or later)
- —Previous related work experience (preferred for final co-op)
Location
1848 Lay Road, Delta, PA 17314. On-site, 40 hours/week, no travel required. Housing stipend available for candidates living more than 50 miles from work location.
