About this role
Support Constellation's Corporate Mechanical Engineering team on a fall/winter co-op, maintaining equipment reliability across the nuclear generation fleet. You'll work on projects involving steam turbines, emergency diesel generators, and large pumps at a Fortune 200 clean energy leader.
Responsibilities
- Support Corporate Mechanical Engineering activities for Constellation Generation fleet
- Contribute to reliability, maintenance, and monitoring of steam turbines
- Assist with steam turbine control hydraulics projects
- Support emergency diesel generator maintenance and monitoring
- Participate in large pump reliability and maintenance tasks
Preferred qualifications
- Major in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Engineering Technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Self-driven, willing to ask questions
- Intermediate or advanced level experience (prior co-op or related work experience)
Location, schedule, and travel
Onsite at 200 Exelon Way, Kennett Square, PA 19348. 40 hours per week. No travel required. Housing stipend available for those living beyond 50 miles of work location.
